Name: Chloe Abendroth
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Student/Teacher: Student, First year.
Class: 1-3
Birthday: January 27th
Personality: Chloe is an awkward sort of person, and her personality can be described in two ways: What the rumours say, and what she is in actuality.
According to the rumours, Chloe is a callous girl who could care less about anyone but herself. She is not willing to talk to anyone, sticks to herself, and is generally very selfish. She does not participate in class discussions, and when it comes to group projects, she helps minimally. This is taken by some as aloof laziness with a lack of morals. Whenever someone does speak to her, she responds in short and blunt sentences, sometimes even just a word. If she can help it, she avoids eye contact, and can often be found gazing out the window during class time. Overall, rumours state that Chloe is someone that you should stay away from if you know what's good for you.
However, if one actually got to know Chloe, they'd find something different. Chloe really doesn't talk to people if she can help it, sticks to herself, and she doesn't really participate in class discussion. This is not because she is aloof or believes herself better than everyone; in all seriousness, she is positive that no one would like the person she is. She responds in short sentences because she wants to get conversations over with as soon as possible. Eye contact is something she stays away from because eyes are rumoured to be the "windows into one's soul", something she is not willing to show anyone. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but her sheer amount of common sense more than makes up for this. Though she might seem courageous due to her blunt replies and aloof nature, she is not as brave as one would think; while not exactly cowardly, she isn't very brave either. She hides many things about herself for fear of people finding out about them. Chloe is, however, very persistent; once she starts something, she follows through with it. Something that would surprise someone is Chloe's level of understanding and compassion. Though she may not act on it, she feels for people, and she can understand them quite well. All this is kept inside, however, so no one really sees this side of Chloe.
If you manage to somehow break through the barriers Chloe has set up around herself, you'd be pleasantly surprised. Chloe is loyal to a fault. Ever wonder what it would feel like to have a large guard dog? Befriend Chloe, and you'll find out; if you've managed to worm your way into her heart, you've obviously done something right in her eyes. While not your typical teenage female friend who is touchy-feely and open, Chloe prefers to watch over her friends with steadfast determination and help them out no matter what trouble they find themselves in. She's more likely to watch from a distance with a gentle smile than actually participate in such things as shopping.
If a friend is in trouble, Chloe spends no time dawdling. Sick? She'll nurse you back to health. Injured? She'll carry you to the hospital, no matter how far away it is. About to be utterly crushed by a devastating attack? She'll push you out of the way and take the hit for you. Her self-sacrificing nature is often liable to upset those she is seeking to help, but they'd be hard pressed in getting her to stop; if you're her friend, you're worth protecting at any cost. People have described Chloe as Gentlemanly, even though she is clearly female. She's been known to hold doors, pull out chairs for people, and give her coat to another while it's raining cats and dogs. This contradicts her socially awkward nature, but the truth is she dislikes seeing anyone suffering. If she sees someone in trouble, even if she doesn't know them, she's inclined to help. Could you walk away from someone who needs help right in front of you? Chloe finds that she cannot.
Yet, if you manage to break the trust Chloe has placed in you, whether you realize it or not, you've got a problem. Chloe does not take treachery and betrayal well. While understanding, if her trust has been shattered, it wounds her deeply. Anyone who breaks that trust will have to work overtime at double speed in order to prove to Chloe that they really are worth it to be called a friend.
No one has really truly seen Chloe angry or miserable. Everyone generally sees her as "that quiet foreign girl". No one could suspect that beneath the surface, under that thick layer of patience and understanding, lies the temper of a rabid beast. Those who had to deal with her shadow know just how bad Chloe can be, though it's once in a blue moon that she shows that side of herself. This inner fury and hatred is part of the reason why Chloe despises herself.
There are many misconceptions about Chloe, but one would never know unless they got to know her. The rumours about her tend to scare people away from her, so in the end, Chloe is a lonely girl.

Chloe is different in the sense that she's a transfer student. Hailing from Germany, she falls into the stereotype of "Blonde hair, blue eyes." Her hair is so platinum blonde it almost appears silver or white. She wears her hair at shoulder length and has bangs that fall to the right and cover one eye. Her features are somewhat sharp and angular, giving her a stronger appearance than what is truthful. She is rather tall, standing at 5'10", but does not appear lanky. She is thin, but wiry, and overall healthy looking. Her eyes are a light and piercing blue that seem to creep people out at times. Chloe dislikes girl clothes in general. At school, she opts for a boy's uniform. Even her casual wear is boyish, and not so casual in nature. She wears black dress pants with a white dress shirt tucked in, and sometimes suspenders. Because of her part time job at a fancy cafe, she wears a tuxedo to work. In winter, she dons a long black coat with leather gloves and knee high leather boots.

In legends, Garmr is the Hell Hound whom guards the gates of hell. He is a large and ferocious looking wolf, standing about 6 feet tall at the shoulders. His pelt is the colour of deep ebony, save for the mane of fire that stretches across his back and down his tail. Spreading from the fire on his back are crimson symbols and glyphs. Around his neck is a heavy chain collar that drags across the ground, and he wears a mask that resembles a skull with horns. His eyes glow crimson with an almost soulless glint. Garmr's fangs are long and wicked, as are the claws on all four legs. From his shoulders spread two vicious looking leathery wings.
(Image coming. xD)
Fenrisúlfr, the legendary slayer of Odin and the awakened form of Garmr, changes considerably. No longer of the affinity of fire, Fenrisúlfr's pelt changes hues from that of flame to that of ice. His fur is a deep navy blue, save for the area around his maw, paws, ears, and tail; these areas become bright blue and ice-like in texture. Instead of the leathery wings of Garmr. Fenrisúlfr's wings are feathered like an angels, translucent blue like ice. His eyes change from crimson to azure, with no visible iris or pupil. The heavy chain remains around his neck, and his fangs and claws are just as deadly.
History: Agatha and Korbinian Abendroth gave birth to a beautiful baby girl after getting married. She was their first child and first daughter, and they named her Chloe. They weren’t sure if they wanted another child, but for now, they concentrated on raising Chloe.
Chloe was a sweet child. She was trusting and sometimes naive, always wanting to please others. She got along with other children; she would share her snacks, play fairly, and would help the other kids if they needed help. In general, people liked Chloe, and Chloe liked people. As Chloe advanced in grades, things began to change. When she became a bit older, kids began taking advantage of her kindness and willingness to help. They would demand outrageous things from her, guilt tripping her by saying, “Well, if we’re REALLY friends....” They would grab at anything they could gain from Chloe, and when that was depleted, they would throw her away as if she were trash. This confused and saddened Chloe. Why were they doing this? What had she done wrong? This continued through elementary school until the point where Chloe became blatantly anti-social. She was afraid to make friends because she was almost certain that she would be left in the dust afterward. One of her teachers saw that she had a lot of pent up frustration on the matter, and suggested that she take up a sport of some sort to help her deal with it. In response to his suggestion, Chloe took up a rather odd choice of physical activity; the young girl took up Taijutsu. There was just a satisfying feeling of being able to do something like a martial art, and she enjoyed it. Chloe became very independent for her age, doing things on her own that many children wouldn’t dream of, including learning more than one language; she picked up French and, for kicks because of her training in Taijutsu, Japanese.
Along with her new-found anti-social nature came bullying. She became the prime target of most bullies in her school. For a while, she simply sat and took what abuse they threw at her, be it verbal or physical. She learned to deal with the beatings and, even if it cut her deeply, she refused to react to their stinging words. The frustration and the anger of the issue slowly came to a boil and, one day when she was 12, it finally bubbled over the top. A bully approached her one day as per usual fashion, but as he reached to grab her to shake her down for her lunch money, this time, Chloe fought back. Having trained even basically in Taijutsu, she took the boy's arm twisted it behind him, and shoved down HARD on his elbow. With a sickening crack, the boy's arm was broken, and he fell to the floor. The satisfaction lasted about as long as it took for a teacher to rush to the scene; Chloe then came back to reality and realized what she had just done. No amount of apologizing could make up for this mistake.
A trip to the Principal's office only confirmed her fears. The school had a strict "No Violence" policy, and she had taken that rule and broken it just as badly as she had broken the boy's arm. Chloe was expelled and her parents, who were at work at the time, would be notified. The school left a message on their phone before dismissing Chloe. Chloe couldn't bring herself to go directly home. She took her time, meandering through town before it started to rain. She would have to go home sooner or later, and when the rain started coming down, she thought that it was as good a time as any. What would her parents think...?
Chloe stood outside on the doorstep for a long while before working up the nerve to go inside. Upon entering the house, her mother and father confronted her. They said that they had received a call from the principal saying that Chloe had been expelled; they wanted the truth and couldn't believe that their sweet and gentle daughter could harm another child as she had done. When Chloe’s parents confronted her, she wasn’t sure what to do. Her mind froze; she had never had to tell her parents something like this before. At a complete loss of what to say and terrified of her parents thinking less of her, she promptly ran from the house into the rainy night.
She wasn’t quite sure what she was doing, but she did know that she was running away from her problems, and in the long run, it wouldn’t help. The child eventually slowed to a walk, and tried to clear her thoughts. She had never run out on her parents like that before....how would they react? She was so cowardly... how was she supposed to tell them that she had been expelled from school at the age of TWELVE for putting another kid in the hospital? When Chloe was thoroughly soaked and freezing, she thought about going home; she would have to talk to her parents eventually... with a heavy heart, she trudged home. Upon entering, she noticed that the lights were all off and her parents were out. The phone was ringing off the hook and, after two tries, Chloe worked up the nerve to answer it. What she was told chilled her to the bone.
It was the hospital. They were calling her to tell her that her parents had been in a car accident. They had apparently been out looking for her when they were rear ended by a semi right into an oncoming truck. Her father had died on impact, and her mother was severely wounded. They were doing their best to stabilize her, but things were looking bleak. Chloe had never run so fast in her entire life. She ran the entire length of the city in the rain to get to the hospital. When she arrived, she was taken by the hand by a young nurse to the waiting room. After a time, she was informed that her mother had stabilized, but was in a coma from head trauma. Chloe wasn’t sure how to react. Her father was dead, and her mother was alive...but it was almost as if she wasn’t. This was all her fault. If she hadn’t run out, they wouldn’t have had to come looking for her, her father would still be alive, and her mother wouldn’t be in a coma; she was now alone in the world. Chloe cried herself to sleep in the arms of the young nurse that night, not really caring who saw. What happened after was almost a blur to her.
While her mother lay in a coma, Chloe did her best to help plan the funeral for her father even though she was still quite young. After attending his funeral, she couldn’t help but feel empty inside. Coming home to an empty house was the most disheartening thing she had ever had to do. With no one to watch her, she was faced with being put into a foster home. She didn’t really like the idea, but she didn’t really have a choice; she didn’t have the money to support herself for long. She got a job and held out as long as she could with some help from social services, an impressive 2 years, but eventually she was forced into a foster home. Social services thought that she could benefit from something more in the country, but could not find any rural family in Germany that would take her in. After some looking, they found what they believed to be the perfect foster home for Chloe. Unusually, it was in Japan, in the Inaba area; the family was enthusiastically looking to house foster children in need, and Social Services found that it would make a good home for Chloe. They had noticed that she knew Japanese, and that pretty much sealed the deal.
Chloe did not want to leave her mother in the state she was, but social services and the foster home signed the papers, and she was shipped off to Inaba. She is now attending her first year in Yasogami High. The rumours about her seemed to start anew once she got there, most likely due to her increased anti-social nature due to the death of her father and coma of her mother. She attends the Music club after school, and plays the Piano.
There was a special on television on the different clubs of Yasogami High, and the Music club was featured. There was much talk about the Piano player, Chloe the mysterious transfer student. Due to her appearance and coverage on television, Chloe was soon kidnapped and thrown into the TV.
Chloe’s dungeon is in the likeness of a hospital that gets bloodier the higher up in levels one goes. The x-rays are of all the same woman with a head injury, and there is sometimes the horrifying sound of a person flat lining. Her shadow is a soaked and shivering version of herself with the yellow eyes of a shadow who openly speaks with whoever enters. Speaks would not be the proper term actually; Chloe's shadow's voice does not go bellow a savage shout. She furiously rants about how much of a coward she is, running away from her problems, and that she is incredibly selfish; she just ends up hurting those close to her. Her shadow rages on that in order to hate other people you have to be able to hate yourself first, and that she was quite qualified in that degree. The Shadow violently teases her that her worst fear is of being completely alone, taunting her by telling her that regardless of what she does to prevent it, she will always end up alone in the end.
